Job description
Seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage through 2026. This role supports coverage needs due to recruitment gaps and includes participation in a PRN float pool once onboarded. Local providers only.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage adult and pediatric emergency cases
• Supervise APPs and residents
• Perform core emergency procedures
• Coordinate consults and admissions
• Document care using Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• Active Michigan license (IMLC not accepted)
• BLS required
• ED experience highly preferred
• Clean background and malpractice history
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required
• Must be local (no exceptions)
Working Hours
• Weekday shifts:
– 6a–4p | 10a–8p | 12p–10p | 4p–2a | 8p–6a
• Weekend shifts:
– 6a–4p | 10a–8p | 4p–2a | 8p–6a
• Start: March 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
