Job description
Seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage through 2026. This role supports ongoing coverage needs and participation in a float pool for PRN emergency department shifts. Local providers only.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage adult and pediatric emergency cases
• Supervise midlevel provider on duty
• Respond to house codes and provide airway support
• Coordinate transfers and consults as needed
• Document care using Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• FP with 2+ years ER experience considered
• Active Michigan license (IMLC not accepted)
• DEA required
• ATLS/PALS required for non-EM boarded physicians
• Clean background and malpractice history
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required
• Must be local (no exceptions)
Working Hours
• Varied shifts, 7 days/week
• Start: March 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
