Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based emergency care to a diverse patient population.
- Manage acute and urgent conditions across all ages in a fast-paced yet supportive ER.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, specialists, and hospital administration.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
- Active NJ medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required.

This physician/APP role requires stamina in fast-paced healthcare: prolonged standing/walking (8-12 hrs/shift); rapid emergency movement (sprints, crowds); lifting/carrying 25-50 lbs equipment; pushing/pulling 100 lbs (beds/carts) with aid; frequent bending/stooping/kneeling for care; constant reaching/fine motor skills (suturing/IVs); occasional climbing/balancing; tolerating stressors (temps, noise, fluids, hazards) during irregular shifts/on-call/infection risks—accommodations for disabilities; varies by setting (clinic/ER).
Job Responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration.
Ability to work autonomously in single-coverage shifts while maintaining high standards of care.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Meditech.
Effective decision-making under pressure in low-acuity, non-trauma environments.
Commitment to continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications
Active NJ medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
At least 2-3 years of post-residency experience preferred; new grads with strong training considered.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required.
