Coverage Needed
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- End Date: Up to 1 year
- Schedule: 12 hour shifts, AM and PM coverage needed
Clinical Details
- Number of ER Bays: 10
- Patients per Hour: 2.0-2.5
- Low Acuity
- Nurse/APP Triage for Lower Acuity: In season currently only on Monday
- Staffing Model: Single coverage
- Support Staff: Normal ER support staff
- ED Admission Rate: <5%
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements
- ACLS/PALS Certification
- Will accept new graduates of ABEM/ABOEM
- Case Logs: 2 years
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine
- American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
- Primary Care Physician with EM Experience to be considered with waiver
- Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered “Local”, and will not be eligible for this role
- Active FL license
