This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-functioning Emergency Department staffed by a collaborative and experienced group of physicians. The team is notably stable, with an average physician tenure of 10 years, reflecting a supportive and well-established work environment. The department sees approximately 60,000 emergency visits annually at a community hospital located about 25 miles from a major metropolitan area.
The Emergency Department is staffed with strong physician and advanced practice provider coverage, including overnight dual-physician coverage, extensive daily physician hours, and dedicated physician assistant support. Limited resident teaching is involved, allowing providers to focus primarily on patient care. Comprehensive in-house specialty support is available, including surgery, anesthesia, obstetrics, neonatology, pediatric hospitalist services, and hospitalist coverage for admissions.
Position Highlights
* Stable, collegial Emergency Medicine team

Requirements
