Locums-to-Perm | Emergency Medicine | 24-Hour In-House Call | Dyersville, IA Why This Role

  • Low-volume emergency medicine with integrated inpatient coverage
  • 24-hour in-house shifts with sleep accommodations on site
  • Critical access setting offering broad clinical autonomy and continuity
Assignment Details Minimum of three 24-hour shifts per pay period Primary shift structure is 24 hours from 7a–7a, with occasional 12-hour shifts In-house call coverage with provider sleep room available Coverage includes specific February and March dates with ongoing need Clinical Details Average of 4 emergency department patients per day Average inpatient census of 4 patients including observation, acute, and swing-bed Coverage includes emergency department and inpatient responsibilities Three emergency treatment rooms and twenty inpatient beds Support includes four advanced practice providers, two RNs, and one CNA Epic-based EMR environment Requirements Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or FP/IM with recent emergency medicine experience Active Iowa medical license Clean malpractice and background history Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
