Assignment Details Reason for coverage is a recruitment gap Start January 2026 with multiple open shifts through February Strictly onsite emergency department coverage with no call Shifts include 0600-1600, 0900-2100, 1400-0000, and 2000-0600 Daily ED volume approximately 80 patients; physicians average 1.8 patients per hour APP coverage for 12 hours plus full nursing, tech, radiology, and lab support EMR system is Cerner Local providers only Clinical Details Full-scope emergency medicine for adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Includes newborn resuscitation, management of acute medical issues, and orthopedic care for minor fractures Procedures include suturing, incision and drainage, ventilation and airway management, central and arterial line placement, EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, and paracentesis Expected to manage ED presentations without subspecialty delays No admissions responsibilities outside typical ED workflow Requirements Board certification required; BE not accepted IM or FM accepted with minimum two years of recent ED experience Active Michigan license required at name clear; IMLC not accepted ACLS, BLS, and PALS required Provider must be fully local and have a clean background Exact availability must be included at name clear Employee health requirements must be met, including vaccinations and titers Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
