Locums | Emergency Medicine APP | No Call | Lansing, MI Why This Role

  • Dedicated fast-track APP role with independent patient management
  • Consistent 12-hour shift structure in a high-volume Level III emergency department
  • Strong physician and resident support within a well-resourced ED environment
Assignment Details Start Dates 1/28/2026, 2/2/2026, 2/10/2026, 2/27/2026 End Dates Vary by selected shift Coverage Type No call Schedule 11:00a–11:00p and 8:00a–8:00p shifts Practice Setting Inpatient emergency department Fast Track Coverage 10-bed VUE fast-track area Patients Per Day Approximately 110 total ED volume divided among providers Annual ED Volume Approximately 40,150 visits ED Beds 50 Trauma Level III Admissions Approximately 20 percent of ED volume EMR Cerner Clinical Details Independent APP coverage in the ED fast-track area Evaluation and management of low- to moderate-acuity emergency patients Physicians available on site 24 hours per day for consultation and case review No supervision of resident cases required Coordination with hospitalist and resident teams for admissions Access to full hospital services including radiology, laboratory, blood bank, pathology, and all surgical specialties Pediatric transfers to Sparrow, stroke transfers to McLaren Flint, and trauma transfers as indicated Requirements Board certified NP or PA Active Michigan license required DEA required ACLS required ATLS required Minimum two years of recent emergency department experience Local provider required Clean history Compensation Rates Facility is accepting bids Malpractice Provided Travel Reimbursed
