Locums - Trinity, Florida, Emergency Medicine Opening

We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician for a long-term locum opportunity in Trinity, Florida. This is a high-volume, general emergency medicine setting with coverage that includes on-site clinical shifts, nights, weekends, and call, offering flexibility within a structured coverage model.

• Start Date: March 1, 2026

• Duration: 1 year

• Minimum Commitment: 8 shifts required

• Coverage Model:

• On-site physician coverage

• Nights, weekends, and call included

• 40 hours of physician coverage (shift times vary)

Orientation: One formal orientation plus 1–2 days of shadowing

Coverage Locations: Must be willing to work at free-standing emergency departments (FSEDs) associated with the main facility

• Beds: 39

• Daily Census: ~150 patients/day

• Daily Admissions: 35–40

• Patient Population: General emergency medicine

• Trauma Level: Not a trauma center

• Case Mix: General emergency cases

• Board Certified Emergency Medicine – Required

• EM Residency Trained – Required

• Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends

• Comfortable covering both main facility and affiliated FSEDs

• Long-term locum stability with a 1-year duration

• High-volume practice with broad emergency medicine exposure

• Variety of shift types and locations keeps work dynamic

• Strong onboarding with orientation and shadowing
