We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a busy community hospital Emergency Department in Dublin, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-supported ED with APP triage and a diverse patient population.

Position Details:

  • Practice Setting: Community hospital Emergency Department
  • Trauma Designation: Level III Trauma Center
  • ED Bays: 28
  • Annual ED Volume: ~54,000 visits per year
  • Patient Mix: Typical for a sole community hospital
  • ED Admission Rate: Approximately 15%
  • APP/Nurse Triage: Yes, available for lower-acuity patients

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage a full spectrum of emergency medicine cases
  • Provide care for medical, surgical, and trauma presentations
  • Supervise and collaborate with APPs and nursing staff as needed
  • Ensure timely, high-quality, and patient-centered emergency care
  • Participate in trauma activations consistent with Level III designation

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM required) Can not accept IM/ FM boards
  • Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain
  • ACLS, BLS, and ATLS (preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume ED
