We are actively seeking an experienced Locum Emergency Medicine Physician for an excellent opportunity in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Schedule
-
12-hour shifts
-
3 shifts per week
-
Mix of days and nights
-
Day shifts: 7a–7p, 8–8, 10–10, 11–11, 12–12
-
Night shifts: 7p–7a
-
Mostly days, with some nights required
Facility & Volume
-
Combined ED + Urgent Care volume: 200–230 patients/day
-
33 total beds (13 ED, 20 ED Observation)
-
Double physician coverage
-
Average 16–22 patients per physician depending on acuity
-
Expected 2.5–3 patients per hour

Cerner EH
Support On-Site
-
24/7 Pediatrics and Hospitalist in-house
-
Specialty backup: Ortho, STEMI, ENT, Podiatry, Nephrology (no inpatient dialysis), OB, Behavioral Health

Job Responsibilities
Emergency Medicine board certified or board eligible
FM-boarded physicians with solid ED experience will be considered
Minimum 2 years ED or Urgent Care experience
Comfortable treating all ages and managing acute & chronic cases
Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
