JOB: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Needed

At a Glance:
Setting: Hospital-based ED
Shifts: day and night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: 6a - 6p; 6p - 6a
Job Details: ED admits PEDS (about 20% admit rate). MD will respond to Rapid Response, yet will turn over to hospitalist once he/she arrives in order to return to ED.

Department Size: 8 ED beds, 5 ICU beds
ED Volume: ~13,000 with 10% admit rate
EMR: Epic
Support: APP coverage and full clinical staff

Candidate Profile:
Degree: MD/DO
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS
If IM/FM Boarded required to have ATLS, Proof of Procedures, and 19 hrs of Trauma CME’s (ATLS class qualifies for 19hrs of Trauma CME’s)
Licensure Required: candidates MUST have an active TX license and DEA
