JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Texas medical license required
  • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, ABEM preferred; FP/IM with EM experience considered
  • DEA: Active DEA for Texas required; CSR as applicable
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
  • Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required
  • Other Qualifications: Must have license and board certification in hand at time of presentation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and emergent conditions
  • Collaborate with specialty backup and inpatient services
  • Document patient encounters accurately using EMR systems
  • Participate in a team-based staffing model to ensure continuous ED coverage
