- Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics
- Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 30,000 annual ED visits
- Admissions: As clinically indicated

- Case Mix: Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Behavioral Health, OB/GYN, Medical and Surgical Emergencies

- Support Staff Available: Advanced Practitioners, Scribes, Nursing Staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Texas medical license required
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, ABEM preferred; FP/IM with EM experience considered
- DEA: Active DEA for Texas required; CSR as applicable
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required
- Other Qualifications: Must have license and board certification in hand at time of presentation
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with specialty backup and inpatient services
- Document patient encounters accurately using EMR systems
- Participate in a team-based staffing model to ensure continuous ED coverage
