🚨🩺 Locum Emergency Medicine Physician – 24-Hour Shifts
📍 West Branch, MI
We are seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a busy community hospital ED in West Branch, MI. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a free-standing hospital setting with a supportive full ED staff.
🏥 Facility Setting

Free-standing ED

20 beds, annual ER volume: ~9,000

Fast track MD-staffed area
-
ED patients: ~70% of total admissions

Hospitalist manages admission orders
⏰ Schedule
-
24-hour shifts
-
Weekend coverage required
-
Shift example: 08:00 – 08:00

Patients per day: ~30
🩻 Responsibilities & Skills
-
Independent emergency care for adult and pediatric patients

Supervise other healthcare providers not required
-
Procedures as per standard EM practice

Documentation via Cerner
✅ Requirements

Board Certified (IM/FM with 2+ years recent EM experience considered)

Active Michigan License (no IMLC)

BLS (required)
