You will work alongside a dedicated team using state-of-the-art radiology services (CT and X-ray available 24/7), a full-service lab, and surgical support at a nearby Lansing location. Required Skills
- Valid MD or DO license in Michigan
- Board-certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with ED radiology and lab procedures
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience in a similar high-volume emergency setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years recent emergency medicine experience
- American Board of Emergency Medicine certification or equivalent
Other Requirements
- Must have current immunizations: Hep B, MMR, Varicella (or immune titers), Flu shot (current season), COVID documentation, TB test within past 12 months, TDAP vaccination within last 10 years
- Must successfully complete orientation (paid at ½ hourly rate)
- Availability for shifts on a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends
- Travel expenses will be covered within specified policies; no third-party lodging bookings or reimbursement for taxes
