Join Our Dynamic Emergency Medicine Team as an Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to deliver high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, community-focused hospital environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population across all ages.
  • Manage an average of 15 to 25 patients per shift, including peak season volumes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising RT, Psych, Teleintensivist, Ortho, Gen Surg, OB/GYN, CRNA, and mid-level professionals.
  • Document and coordinate patient care using the EPIC electronic health record system.
  • Adhere to established protocols and certification requirements, including ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or CALS.

Required Skills:
  • Valid state medical license, with a license in Minnesota preferred.
  • Board-certified in Emergency Medicine or eligible.
  • Proven experience working at community hospital sites.
  • Skilled in managing high patient volumes with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Current DEA registration.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system.
  • Knowledge of ED operations in the Midwest region.
  • Previous work in seasonal or peak volume settings.
  • Additional certifications in advanced trauma or critical care.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of emergency medicine experience, preferably in community hospital environments.
  • Prior experience working in Minnesota or neighboring states.

Other Requirements:
  • Successful completion of credentialing within 60-90 days.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, primarily scheduled 6-8 times per month, with a mix of day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and night shifts.
  • Local candidates only; travel expenses are not covered.
  • Capable of handling high patient throughput during peak seasons.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, efficient emergency care.
