• Locum Emergency Medicine coverage with inpatient responsibilities
• Low-volume ED with combined emergency and inpatient care
• In-house 24-hour coverage with sleep room available
• Rural hospital serving surrounding communities
• Low-volume ED with combined emergency and inpatient care
• In-house 24-hour coverage with sleep room available

Job Responsibilities
• Manage inpatient admissions (observation, acute, swing bed)
• Coordinate care with nursing and ancillary staff
• Utilize EMR for documentation and patient management
• Support hospital-wide emergency coverage
Qualifications
• Active Iowa license or active IMLC with LOQ – REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and background history – REQUIRED
Working Hours
• Minimum 3 shifts per pay period
• Open dates available February–March
Skills
• Inpatient medical management
• Low-volume rural ED experience
• EPIC (TogetherCare) EMR proficiency
• Team-based collaboration
