🗓️ Schedule & Coverage
- Minimum Requirement: 3 × 24-hour shifts per pay period
- Shift Length:
- Primarily 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- Occasional 12-hour shifts
- On-Call: In-house coverage
- Provider sleep room available 🛏️
Open Shifts (Coverage Needed):
- Feb 6–7 | Feb 22–23 | Feb 25–28
- Mar 1–2 | Mar 8–9 | Mar 15–16
- Mar 18–21 | Mar 22–23 | Mar 25–28 | Mar 29–30
🏥 Practice Details
- Emergency Department: 3-bed ED
- Inpatient Capacity: 20 medical-surgical beds
- Average ED Volume: ~4 patients/day
- Average Inpatient Census: ~4 patients/day (obs, acute & swingbed)
- Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes
👩⚕️👨⚕️ Clinical Support
- Advanced Practice Providers: 4 (no supervision required)
- Nursing Support: 2 RNs for all services
- Ancillary Staff: 1 CNA per provider
- Exam Rooms: 3 ED treatment rooms
- Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy: On-site and available
- EMR: TogetherCare (EPIC-based system)
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified: ABEM or FP/IM with recent Emergency Medicine experience
- Licensure: Active Iowa license or Active IMLC with LOQ
