  • Flexible 12-hour and 24-hour shift options across multiple dates
  • Community-based ED ideal for experienced physicians or strong new graduates
Assignment Details Start Dates 1/31/2026, 2/8/2026, 2/12/2026, 2/17/2026, 2/23/2026 End Dates Vary by selected shift Coverage Type No call Shift Structure 12-hour or 24-hour shifts Shift Times 7:00a–7:00p or 7:00p–7:00a Practice Setting Emergency department Annual ED Volume Approximately 15,000 visits Average Daily Volume Approximately 20 patients per day initially, increasing to 40 per day by year one Radiology 24/7 CT and X-ray available Lab Services 24/7 laboratory services, no blood bank Surgical Services Available at Lansing location Clinical Details Emergency medicine coverage in a community emergency department Evaluation and management of adult and pediatric emergency presentations Lower-acuity case mix compared to regional referral centers Stabilization and coordination of transfer for higher-acuity cases when needed Independent practice environment with standard emergency procedures Requirements Board Certification ABEM or AOBEM certified only Active Michigan medical license required ATLS required with proof from residency Open to new graduates Local providers prioritized Clean history Compensation Rates Facility is accepting bids Malpractice Provided Travel Reimbursed
