  • Low-volume, free-standing emergency department with manageable acuity
  • Independent practice setting with full ED staff support
Assignment Details Start Date 3/29/2026 End Date 3/30/2026 Coverage Type No call Shift Schedule 24-hour shift from 8:00a–8:00a Practice Setting Free-standing emergency department Average Daily Volume Approximately 30 patients Annual ED Volume Approximately 9,000 visits Hospital Size 207 beds Admissions Approximately 1 percent of ED volume Transfers Approximately 1 percent of ED volume Fast Track Available and staffed by MD EMR Cerner Clinical Details Emergency medicine coverage for adult and pediatric patients Independent evaluation and management of ED presentations Low admission and transfer rates Standard emergency medicine procedures per facility practice Hospitalist team responsible for admission orders No supervision of other providers required Requirements Board certified physician required IM or FM physicians accepted with at least two years of recent emergency medicine experience Active Michigan medical license required BLS required Local provider required Clean history Compensation Rates Facility is accepting bids Malpractice Provided Travel Reimbursed
