Assignment Details Start Dates Multiple dates available between 1/2/2026 and 2/28/2026 End Dates Vary by selected shift Coverage Type No call Shift Structure Variable shifts including day, evening, and overnight coverage Practice Setting Inpatient emergency department Annual ED Volume Approximately 40,000 visits Average Patients Per Day Approximately 110 Trauma Level III Hospital Size 427 beds Fast Track Yes, staffed by APPs Admissions Approximately 22% of ED volume -Transfers Approximately 1% of ED volume EMR Cerner Clinical Details Emergency medicine coverage in a high-volume community emergency department Supervision of advanced practice providers and residents Evaluation and management of adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Fast track and main ED coverage as assigned Procedural scope includes airway management and ventilation Central and arterial line placement EKG interpretation Orthopedic care including non-displaced fractures Minor laceration repair and incision and drainage Psychiatric evaluations for uncomplicated cases Arthrocentesis Lumbar puncture Paracentesis Management of acute volume and blood pressure issues Requirements Board Certification ABEM or AOBEM certified only State License Active Michigan medical license required BLS required Local provider required Emergency medicine experience strongly preferred Clean history Compensation Rates Facility is accepting bids Malpractice Provided Travel Reimbursed
