- Other details: The facility which is trauma level 5 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 4-6 patients per shift and 25 beds in the department. There is an ongoing need for an MD/DO to provide ER and Urgent Care coverage, with the provider being on-site for a minimum of 10 days per month, preferably on a one week on/one week off schedule, though flexibility is available to accommodate the locum provider’s needs, and including call coverage for the entire month. The role involves covering both ER and Urgent Care while on-site, with ER providing 24-hour coverage and Urgent Care shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Experience with critical access and swing bed settings is preferred. On-site housing is provided, and participation in medical staff and provider meetings is required for approximately two hours per month, which may be completed on-site or virtually. The team is supported by APPs who cover all other ER shifts, while administrative scheduling and related tasks are handled separately.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
* Experience in critical access and swing bed settings preferred
* Ability to work independently in ER and Urgent Care environments
* Active medical license in good standing
Working Hours
* Preferred one week on/one week off schedule, with flexibility available
* ER coverage: 24-hour shifts
* Urgent Care coverage: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
