🚨 Emergency Medicine Physician — Locum Opportunity

Hospital-Based Emergency Department | Provisional Level IV Trauma
✨ Position Highlights

⏰ Shifts: 12-hour coverage — 8AM–8PM & 8PM–8AM, 7 days per week

👨⚕️ Board Certified Physicians Only (EM or FP with ER experience)

👩⚕️ Team Structure: 1 midlevel on duty + full-time EM physician team

🛏 18 ED Beds
-
👥 Average Volume: ~54 patients/day

💻 EMR: Cerner
-
🚑 ED Admissions: ~8% | Transfers ~2%

🧯 ED Responds to House Codes (hospitalist + anesthesia support)

🛞 Local Providers Only

🧒 No Fast Track

🏥 Supervision: Locum physician will supervise the midlevel on duty

🧪 24/7 CT, X-ray & Lab | Blood Bank Available

✈️ Air & Ground Transfer Support Available
🔧 Required Skills & Certifications
✔ Board Certified (EM or FP with ER experience)
✔ Active MI License
✔ DEA
✔ ACLS / ATLS / PALS (for non-EM boarded physicians)
✔ Clean background required
