• Onsite-only locum emergency medicine coverage
• No call responsibilities
• Recruitment gap coverage with ongoing needs through June 2026
• Moderate-volume ED with full clinical support
• Cerner EMR in use
• No call responsibilities
• Recruitment gap coverage with ongoing needs through June 2026
• Moderate-volume ED with full clinical support
• Cerner EMR in use
Job Responsibilities
• Manage medical, trauma, and psychiatric emergencies
• Perform required ED procedures
• Collaborate with APPs, nursing, radiology, and lab teams
• Document care and time using DocTime system
Qualifications
• IM/FM accepted with 2+ years recent ED experience
• Active Michigan medical license required (no IMLC)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required (ABEM/AOBEM require ATLS only)
• Local providers only
• Clean background for fast credentialing
Working Hours
• Shift options:
• 0600–1600
• 0900–2100
• 1400–0000
• 2000–0600
• Multiple shifts available Feb 2026, extending through June 2026
Skills
• Airway and ventilation management
• Central and arterial line placement
• Suturing, I&D, fracture care
• EKG interpretation and emergency procedures
