High-volume Level III Emergency Department seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage. Enjoy a diverse case mix, strong APP and resident support, and flexible shift options in a well-resourced ED setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency department patients
• Supervise APPs and Emergency Medicine residents
• Perform core EM procedures and critical care interventions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and hospitalists
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM only)
• Active Michigan medical license (Required)
• Prior Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification
• Clean background for expedited credentialing
• Local providers only
Working Hours
• Varied shifts including days, evenings, nights
• Weekday & weekend coverage available
• Shift examples: 6a–4p, 10a–8p, 12p–10p, 4p–2a, 8p–6a
