Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care
- Supervise APPs and residents in the ER
- Perform various procedures, including suturing, ventilation management, and EKG interpretation
- Coordinate with hospitalists for admissions
- Fast-paced decision-making in a Trauma Level III ER environment
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Active Michigan license
- BLS certification
- Local provider with a clean background
Working Hours
- Shifts vary, including days, evenings, and overnight opportunities
Skills
- Competence in family medicine procedures
- Experience in acute management and outpatient care
- Proficiency in using Cerner EMR
- Strong leadership and communication skills for supervising medical staff
