Procedures / Skills Required

• Adult & pediatric outpatient care, including newborn resuscitation 👶

• Orthopedic care for non-displaced fractures, wound management, suturing, incision & drainage

• Psychiatric evaluation of uncomplicated adults, children/adolescents, geriatric patients 🧠

• Ventilation management, central line, arterial line, EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, paracentesis

• EM-related procedures as appropriate for Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physicians

Requirements

• Board-Certified Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM) or FM/IM with 2+ years recent ED experience ✅

• Michigan medical license (no IMLC)

• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS (FM/IM: ATLS required)

• Must be local to Michigan – onsite only

• Clean malpractice and background history

• Able to submit availability for specified shifts
  

Compensation & Expenses

• Hourly Rate: $310/hour
