Emergency Medicine Job Details

• Position Type: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician
• Location: Cambridge, Ohio – Southeastern Ohio
• Emergency Department: 16 beds, 27,000 annual visits
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (7p-7a, 7a-7p); minimum 5 shifts/month, mostly nights and weekends
• Coverage: 24-hour physician coverage, 36-hour APP coverage daily
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13-week contract, with potential extension
• EMR System: Meditech

Emergency Medicine Physician Qualifications

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, or Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
• Active Ohio medical license (IMLC accepted; proof of LOQ required within 3 business days)
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Medicine experience
• Clean background (no exceptions)

Emergency Physician Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team, including advanced practice providers
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate documentation and patient management
• Participate in both day and night shifts, with emphasis on nights and weekends
