Shift Coverage:
- Most shifts: 7a–7p and 7p–7a
- Two 8-hour shifts also available daily
- No call, no callbacks
Locations: Ocala , FL
Details:
Practice Setting:
- Emergency Medicine coverage at the main hospital and associated FSEDs
- Provider must be willing to work at FSED locations
- On-site coverage only
- No call required
Patient Volume:
- FSEDs: 2 patients/hour
- Main sites: Variable
- Case mix includes Level 3–5 patients (abdominal pain, chest pain, etc.)
- Providers typically will not be assigned high-acuity zones unless requested
Support Staff:
- APP coverage varies by location and shift
- Emergency Medicine Residency Program onsite
- APP training program available
Requirements:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine OR
- FM/IM with minimum 3 years of ED experience (FSEDs only)
- Must be comfortable working independently in FSED settings
- Willingness to rotate across main ED and FSED locations
