Job description Residency Trained Emergency Medicine Physicians (ABEM) or Internal Medicine/Family Practice with current ER experience
Specialty: Board Certified/ Board Eligible Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine/Family Practice with current ER experience
Location: Memphis, TN
Dates coverage is needed: asap ongoing (5 year contract, Base year POP is 4/01/25 to 3/31/26)
Schedule/Shifts Times: 10-12 hour shifts, days/nights/swing (see below)
Call Requirements: None
Patient Volume: 1 – 2 patients per hour
Patient Ages: adults
Types of Cases: Emergency cases (no major cases, heart attacks, strokes, trauma will get routed to local Hospital or stabilized and shipped to local Hospital with higher level of care)
Type of Charting: EMR - CPRS
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, DEA, Active State license
Credentialing Timeframe: 4-6 weeks on average

Qualifications

Board Certified/ Board Eligible Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine/Family Practice with current ER experience. BLS, ACLS, DEA, Active State license

Working Hours

10-12hr shifts
Shifts available each week, schedule is made as far in advance as Providers are able to commit to.
Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm
Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 12p – 10p
Sunday – Sat 6p-6a
** cannot work 2 consecutive shifts without a 12 hour break in between.  For example, a Physician could not work Sunday 6p – 6a and then pick up the Monday 12p – 10p since there would only be a 6 hour break. Cannot work more than 8 consecutive days without a day off.   **
