Locum Emergency Medicine (MD/DO) – Southern Illinois
Amergis Healthcare is seeking emergency medicine physicians to help cover a Illinois area Critical Access Hospital. The hospital is looking for doctors able to cover 4+ shifts a month on an ongoing basis, day coverage preferred.
🩺 Hospital/Position Details
- Location: Southern Illinois
- Start Date: February expected. Potential earlier start date for holiday coverage
- Volume: 7k annual volume
- Schedule: 12 hour shifts (8a-8p- & 8p-8a). 24 hour shifts also available, with sleep room
- EMR system: Epic
📋 Requirements
- Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) in Emergency Medicine ONLY
- Active IL state license & IL DEA
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience post-residency
- Strong communication and patient care skills
