Job Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical services to all patient demographics
  • Evaluate and manage acute medical concerns
  • Perform necessary procedures such as resuscitation, fracture management, suturing, airway and ventilation management, line insertions, and more
  • Collaborate with the full ED team including APPs, nursing, and tech support

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with 2+ years of recent ED experience
  • Current Michigan medical license (required at the time of application)
  • Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Clean professional background for expedited credentialing
  • Fluency in using Cerner EMR systems

  • Shifts: Varied (0600 - 1600, 0900 - 2100, 1400 - 0000, 2000 - 0600)
  • Call Requirement: None
  • Weekend Work: Yes

  • Proficient in resuscitation and emergency medical procedures
