Job description

Job description On-site Emergency Medicine locum assignment covering varied shift schedules with no call. Provider must be board certified, hold an active Michigan license, be fully local, and meet all credentialing and health requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Provide full-spectrum Emergency Medicine care; manage 1.8 patients per hour; perform EM-related procedures; evaluate/manage acute conditions; handle adult, pediatric, and geriatric emergencies; perform lines, resuscitations, ventilation management, laceration repair, I&D, orthopedic care, and other listed EM procedures; document in Cerner; collaborate with APPs, nursing, radiology, and lab staff.

Qualifications

Board Certified (EM or IM/FM with recent 2+ years ED experience); active MI license (no IMLC); ACLS, BLS, PALS; clean background; local candidate only; compliance with flu, COVID documentation, TB, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and TDAP requirements.

Working Hours

Varied shifts — 0600–1600, 0900–2100, 1400–0000, 2000–0600; weekends required; no call.

Emergency resuscitation, airway/ventilation management, central/arterial lines, orthopedic procedures, suturing, I&D, pediatric care, EKG interpretation, acute stabilization, Cerner EMR proficiency.
