We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum services in Hendersonville, TN. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with consistent scheduling and long-term potential. Coverage is needed beginning February 2026, with a 1-year contract.
Setting: 159-bed acute care hospital with a nationally accredited Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
Annual ED Volume: Approximately 52,000 visits
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (morning, mid, and night); no call required
Coverage: Full physician and APP support
Support Services: Comprehensive emergency care infrastructure with advanced diagnostics and procedural capabilities
Board Certification: ABEM required; new grads accepted
Alternate Pathways: FM/IM physicians with 2–3 years of Emergency Medicine experience considered
License: Active state license strongly preferred; open to licensing for exceptional candidates with clean files (IMLC accepted)
Procedural Skills: Must be proficient in lines, intubations, and chest tubes
Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 90 days; name clear process required
