We have an URGENT NEED for an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide a single, critical 12-hour nocturnist shift in North Carolina.
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Emergency Medicine (Nocturnist)
- Start Date: February 3, 2026 (7:00 PM)
- End Date: February 4, 2026 (7:00 AM)
- Coverage Type: Emergency Room Shift
- Call Requirement: No Call
- EMR: MediTech 6.1
- License: Active North Carolina (NC) License required.
- Credentialing Timeline: 14 Days (Expedited Privileges)
Required Coverage Date
- 2/3 7P-7A
Scope of Work & Volume
- Coverage Model: Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for the 12-hour shift.
- Team: 1 Physician with 2 mid-level split coverage.
- Annual Patient Volume: 32,000.
- Daily Patient Volume: 90–100 patients.
- Physician Volume: Physicians typically see 18–20 patients in a 12-hour shift.
- ICU: Open ICU.
Requirements & Logistics
- Certification: Board Certified (BC)
- Mandatory Enrollment: Provider MUST be enrolled in PECOS.
- NC Medicaid enrollment is preferred but NOT required.
