Locum Emergency Medicine (MD/DO) – Canton, Texas
We are seeking an emergency medicine physician to help provide emergency medicine coverage at a hospital in Victoria. They are looking for someone optimally able to cover 5+ shifts next month.
Facility Information: 17 ED beds, 7 fast track beds, 35k annual ED volume, 34 hour physician coverage, 30 hour APP coverage, and level III trauma center
Backup specialties: OB, Peds, Cardio, Ortho, Radiology, Pathology, Urology, Pulmonology, and Hospitalists.
Start Date: February.
Duration: They are looking for someone to provide 5+ shifts a month for at least 6 months. They need several FT permanent physicians, so the need is likely to persist for a while.
📋 Qualifications
- Board Certified in ABEM or ABFM
- Active TX state license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience post-residency
- Strong communication and patient care skills
