🩺 Description:
A high-reward locum opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to independently manage both ED and Med/Surg in a low-volume rural setting. Flexible PRN shifts, strong facility support, and top-tier hourly pay.
Job Responsibilities
• Serve as sole on-site provider covering ER & Med/Surg
• Provide emergency, inpatient, and skilled care services
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
• Collaborate with RN staff, paramedic & supplemental clinical team
Qualifications
• Board Certified — Required
• Active IA License — Required
• Active DEA & CSR — Required
• Strong emergency and acute care experience preferred
Working Hours
• PRN schedule
• Combination of day, night, and multi-day coverage blocks
Skills
• Critical decision-making & acute care expertise
• Strong clinical independence
