We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Sanford, Florida. This opportunity offers a dynamic and collaborative environment in a busy community hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages
- Collaborate with nursing staff, APPs, and other hospital departments
- Supervise and work alongside APPs as needed
- Perform common ED procedures and provide acute management
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Active Florida medical license
- DEA license and controlled substance registration
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Prior EM experience in a high-volume setting preferred
