Emergency Medicine Physician wanted an hour outside of Dallas
Certification & Training Requirements
- Accepted Boards: ABEM (preferred), AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, FNP (ANCC, AANP)
- Residency: EM residency preferred; FM residency with strong ED experience accepted
- Required Certifications:
- FM-trained or EM board-eligible: ATLS, ACLS, PALS
- EM board-certified: Proof of ATLS at least once
- Start Date: February 2026
Assignment Length: 1 year
Minimum Shifts: 5 per month
Coverage & Staffing Model
- Physician Coverage: 24 hrs/day
- Shift Times: 6a–6p & 6p–6a daily
- NP/PA Coverage:
- Monday: 8a–5p & 12p–9p
- Tue–Fri: 8a–8p
- Sat & Sun: 10a–8p
Patient Volume & Details
- Annual Volume: ~21,705
- Patients per Day: ~60
- EMS Percentage: 10–15%
- Admitted Patients: 0% (all transfers to main campus)
