Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in Indiana
Contract Details
• Location: Jeffersonville, IN
• Practice Setting: ER & Urgent Care
• Start Date: January 2026
• Shift/Schedule Details: 12-hour shifts (7a–7p and 7p–7a); scheduled coverage only; no call
General Requirements
o State License: Indiana required (not willing to license)
o Board-Certification: Emergency Medicine (ABEM required by bylaws)
o Life Certifications: DEA and Indiana CSR required
o EMR: Epic
Skills/Procedures Required/Case Types
• General urgent/emergency care
• Vaccines and standard procedures
• No trauma-level experience required
Patient Population
• Mixed age group (details not specified)
Patient Volume Avg. Daily Census
• Annual Volume: 27,692
• ED Beds: 12
• Average PPHR: 3.0 (day), 0.6 (night)
Support Staff
• APC Coverage: 24–30 hours/day
• Charting Software: Epic
