We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and features primarily afternoon shifts (2p-10p), with some morning (6a-2p) and overnight (10p-6a) coverage. The role is based in a trauma emergency department and is ideal for those with experience in academic trauma settings.


Job Details

  • LOA: 120 days
  • Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician
  • Schedule: 8 hour shifts; primary 2p-10p, with secondary 6a-2p and 10p-6a; approximately 50-66% afternoons and up to 25% morning or overnight shifts


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide patient care in a trauma emergency department
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical and traumatic conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity academic setting
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters
  • Adhere to established protocols and standards of care


Additional Information

  • Missouri medical license required
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required
  • Trauma experience in an academic setting strongly preferred
