Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 12-hour emergency department coverage during both day and night shifts
- Manage acute and emergent patient presentations across all age groups
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines
Additional Information
- Board certification required: Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine–Critical Care Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine
- Must hold a valid New York medical license
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- ABEM background preferred
