Job description We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This four-day opportunity begins Dec 6, 2025, and includes both day and night 12-hour ED shifts. The assignment offers a focused schedule with additional dates anticipated in 2026.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide 12-hour emergency department coverage during both day and night shifts
  • Manage acute and emergent patient presentations across all age groups
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines

Additional Information
  • Board certification required: Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine–Critical Care Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine
  • Must hold a valid New York medical license
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • ABEM background preferred
