Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Opportunity in Cambridge, OH

Join a physician-led organization in Cambridge, Ohio, as an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician. This facility is committed to delivering exceptional care with a patient volume of 27k per year and a well-equipped 16-bed emergency department. Candidates should be prepared to work a minimum of five shifts a month, which include nights and weekends, with the potential to work in both O'Bleness and Cambridge locations. Credentialing typically takes a minimum of 90 days.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality emergency care to patients.
  • Participate in a collaborative, physician-led healthcare environment.
  • Handle a variety of emergency cases in a busy emergency department.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, ensuring continuous coverage with a dedicated team.
  • Utilize Meditech EMR for patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with on-site administrative support to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with EM experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine.
  • Valid Ohio state license or IMLC with proof of LOQ.
  • Certification in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Clean professional background.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Active Ohio state license required (or IMLC).
  • Board certification required through ABMS/AOA.
  • Malpractice coverage must be included in the hourly rate cap.
  • COVID vaccination is required.
