Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the sole emergency medicine provider in a freestanding emergency department
- Deliver timely and effective care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Utilize advanced clinical judgment to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of emergency cases
- Ensure compliance with established protocols and safety standards
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Collaborate with support staff to optimize patient flow and care
Additional Information
- Must have a current Florida medical license
- Required board certifications: Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
- Must have completed at least 6000 hours of full-time emergency room work during the past three years
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Experience working independently in emergency settings is strongly preferred
