Job description We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Jan 5, 2026. Multiple providers are needed to cover ongoing gaps, working 10-hour shifts with specific hours to be provided. This opportunity involves managing a broad range of emergency and minor trauma cases for patients of all ages in a collaborative, small-team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide emergency medical evaluation, stabilization, and treatment to patients of all ages
  • Manage acute medical and traumatic conditions in accordance with hospital protocols
  • Collaborate closely with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and consulting specialists for coordinated care
  • Accurately document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record
  • Supervise and support advanced practice providers during designated coverage hours
  • Participate in handoffs and communication with oncoming providers for continuity of care
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, credentialing requirements, and state regulations

Additional Information
  • Must hold a valid physician license in Pennsylvania
  • Board certification in Emergency Medical Services required
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required
  • Physicians should be proficient in intubations, laceration repairs, and central line placement
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and ability to collaborate effectively in a small-team setting
