Locums EM physician needs all across FL - NO call - $295/hr to $305/hr

Aya Locums is seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum services at a 19-bed Emergency Department in Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Physician looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed ASAP and ongoing.

Job Details:

• Case Types: Emergency Medicine (27,000 annual volume)
• Setting: Hospital Emergency Department with 19 beds
• Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am). No call required.
• Patient Volume: Average based on 27,000 annual volume
• Support: Clinical staff collaboration
• Responsibilities: Immediate recognition, evaluation, and care for patients with acute medical conditions. Conduct physical examinations, medical history reviews, diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• EMR System: Meditech P-doc EMR and M-Modal Dictation
• Facility Features: Private patient triage area, comfortable treatment rooms, advanced patient monitoring equipment, latest life-saving technology
• Orientation: 2-hour onboarding process covering EMR and local quality measures, followed by two shadow shifts
• Must be willing to work at main facility associated with FSED
• No locals within 50+ miles

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or Board Eligibility with residency training in Emergency Medicine (Family Medicine not accepted)
• State License in Florida (IMLC accepted)
• ABLS and ACLS Certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency departments or urgent care preferred
