We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum services in North River Ranch, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a daytime provider seeking consistent scheduling in a community-based emergency department with long-term potential. Coverage is needed beginning February 2026, with a minimum 6-month ongoing contract.
🏥 Job Details:
Setting: Acute care hospital with a 12-bed ED and 4-bed fast track
Annual ED Volume: Approximately 22,000 patient visits per year
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7a–7p); no call required
Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no residents
Support Services: Onboarding includes EMR training and two shadow shifts
📋 Requirements:
Board Certification: ABEM/ABOEM preferred; IM/FM with 500+ EM cases in past 12 months accepted
License: Active FL license required; IMLC accepted
Procedural Skills: Must be proficient in emergency procedures
Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 90 days; name clear process required
Additional Notes: Provider must be willing to work at affiliated FSEDs; no local candidates (must reside 50+ miles away)
