JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Texas State Medical License
  • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM or AOBEM (osteopathic equivalent)
  • DEA: Active DEA with Texas address
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (current)
  • Experience: Residency trained and specialty certified in Emergency Medicine
  • Other Qualifications: Must submit CME (past 2 years), case logs (past 2 years), copies of all diplomas, SS card, driver's license, and color photo; immunization compliance required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to all patients presenting to the ED
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical and trauma cases
  • Perform standard emergency medicine procedures
  • Collaborate with other ED physicians and staff for seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in PCC EMR system following in-person EMR training
  • Participate in ongoing hospital CME requirements and credentialing processes
  • Cross-credentialed to work across THOP Montwood and Horizon City campuses
