JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Texas State Medical License
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM or AOBEM (osteopathic equivalent)
- DEA: Active DEA with Texas address
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (current)
- Experience: Residency trained and specialty certified in Emergency Medicine
- Other Qualifications: Must submit CME (past 2 years), case logs (past 2 years), copies of all diplomas, SS card, driver's license, and color photo; immunization compliance required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to all patients presenting to the ED
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical and trauma cases
- Perform standard emergency medicine procedures
- Collaborate with other ED physicians and staff for seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in PCC EMR system following in-person EMR training
- Participate in ongoing hospital CME requirements and credentialing processes
- Cross-credentialed to work across THOP Montwood and Horizon City campuses
