- Clinical Shift Schedule: 8a8p (12-hour shifts) COVERAGE DATES
- Starting 12/15/2025 Ongoing, flexible scheduling available
PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Adults and general population
- Patient Volume/Census: Annual ED volume 6,404
- Admissions: Yes, per ER case load
- Rounding: Not required
- Phone Consults: As needed for patient coordination
- Case Mix: General emergency presentations across all acuity levels
FACILITY INFORMATION
- Office Equipment Available: Standard emergency department setup
- Specialty Backup Available: Hospital-based support as needed
- Support Staff Available: Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Reason for Coverage: Coverage need
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Illinois state license (required, must have in hand)
- Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (required)
- DEA: Active Illinois DEA (required, must have in hand)
- Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Telehealth experience not required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to all presenting patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical and traumatic conditions
- Collaborate with APPs and nursing staff for patient care delivery
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all encounters
- Adhere to hospital protocols, credentialing, and compliance standards
- Maintain readiness for flexible scheduling based on facility needs
