Locum – Emergency Medicine – Cambridge, Ohio (IMLC Welcome)
Coverage Dates: ASAP – Ongoing Need
Type: Full-Time Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC)
Position Overview
- Looking for 5-10 shifts/month, mostly nights and weekends. 7p-7a, 7a-7p
- Organization: Physician-led
- Annual Volume: 27,000 visits/year
- Beds: 16-bed Emergency Department
- Coverage Model:
- 24 hours/day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
- 36 hours/day of APP coverage
- Schedule: Must be available for nights and weekends
- Administrative Support: On-site
- Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days
- EMR System: Meditech

- Board Certification: ABMS/AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Required (no exceptions)
- Licensure: Active Ohio License – Required
- IMLC accepted (must provide proof of LOQ within 3 business days of job acceptance)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience – Required
- Certifications:
- ACLS – Required
- ATLS – Required
- BLS – Required
- PALS – Required
- NRP – Required
- COVID Vaccination: Required
- Background: Must have a clean malpractice and disciplinary record – No exceptions
